Elnaz Bondar
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Hello, I’m Elnaz Bondar. With a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University, I have dedicated my career to helping people find clarity and peace. Whether you are navigating a crisis, managing ADHD, or working through anxiety and depression, I am here to offer a safe, confidential space where you can be truly heard.
I take a holistic approach to therapy. While I am Gestalt-oriented—focusing on you as a whole person—I also tailor my methods to fit your unique needs, drawing on CBT, mindfulness, and other proven therapies. I work with individuals, couples, and children to build better communication, resolve conflict, and foster self-awareness. I offer sessions in both English and Farsi, and I look forward to walking this journey of change with you.
Susan Tavakol
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Hello, I am Susan Tavakol. With over 30 years of experience in mental health care, I bring a deep medical understanding to the counseling room. My journey began in 1987 as a medical doctor and later as a psychiatrist in Iran, where I achieved top ranking on the national board. Today, as a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC) in Canada, I blend that clinical expertise with a compassionate, human-centered approach.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate complex challenges, including PTSD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and anxiety. Because of my background, I am comfortable walking with you through the heavy moments of life. I use a versatile toolkit—including CBT, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—to help you find clarity. Whether we meet in person or virtually, in English or Farsi, my goal is to empower you to reclaim your peace of mind
Maryam Mousavi Nik
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Hello, I am Dr. Maryam Mousavi Nik. For over 16 years, I have worked at the intersection of academic research and clinical therapy, helping clients move beyond just symptom relief toward true personal transformation. Currently, I serve as a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
I believe therapy isn’t just about ‘fixing’ what is wrong; it is about rebuilding your resilience and discovering who you are meant to be. I specialize in complex challenges such as trauma, personality disorders, and OCD, as well as supporting couples through conflict and life transitions like immigration or grief.
My approach is deeply integrative. I draw from evidence-based models like CBT, Schema Therapy, and the Gottman Method to create a plan that fits you. As I often tell my clients: ‘Therapy is not a space for judgment—it’s a space for discovery.’ I look forward to walking alongside you as you find your balance.

Ling Ling Qin
Registered Licensed Acupuncturist
Hi, I’m Lingling Qin. For over 30 years, I’ve been fascinated by the human body’s ability to heal itself—first as an Internal Medicine Physician and now as a Registered Acupuncturist here in Coquitlam.
My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wasn’t just professional; it was personal. After years of practicing Western medicine, I found myself struggling with severe lower back and sciatic pain. It wasn’t until I experienced the profound relief of acupuncture firsthand that I decided to bridge my medical background with this ancient art.
Mohsen Amani
Registered Licensed Acupuncturist
Hi, I’m Mohsen . My journey in medicine began as an ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon, where I spent over 20 years performing complex clinical procedures. While my surgical background gave me a deep understanding of human anatomy, my passion for holistic healing led me to Vancouver to master Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Today, I bridge the gap between Western surgical precision and Eastern wisdom. By integrating acupuncture into my practice, I help patients find relief from chronic sinus issues, hormonal imbalances, and post-operative pain. Whether you’re looking for a natural way to manage stress or a specialized approach to recovery, I’m here to support you in English, Farsi, or Romanian.
Farzaneh Jadali
Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP)
Hi, I’m Dr. Farzaneh Jadali. My career began at the microscopic level—spending over 30 years as a MD Pathologist and Professor, investigating how diseases affect the body’s cells. While my background is deeply rooted in clinical research and pediatric pathology, my true passion lies in prevention.
I believe that true health starts with what we put into our bodies. By integrating my medical expertise with advanced nutritional science, I help my clients address the root causes of illness and mood disorders. Whether you are navigating a complex diagnosis or simply want to optimize your long-term wellness, I provide customized nutrition plans backed by decades of clinical science and a deep empathy for your journey.
Jessica Chan
Registered Dietitian
Hi, I’m Jessica. With over a decade of clinical experience across Canada, the UK, and Hong Kong, I’ve learned that food is so much more than just fuel—it’s the foundation of how we feel every day. Whether you’re navigating a complex medical diagnosis like oncology or GI issues, or simply looking to heal your relationship with eating, I bridge the gap between advanced nutritional science and your real, daily life. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care in both English and Cantonese, helping you find a balance that nourishes both your body and your peace of mind.
Dr. Harsimran Kaur Garcha
DC, MSc, BSc
Hi, I’m Dr. Garcha. As a board-certified chiropractor with a Master’s in Sports Medicine, my passion is simple: helping you move better so you can live better. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatments. Instead, I look at your body as a whole, finding those hidden movement patterns that might be causing your pain or holding you back.
Whether you’re a competitive athlete, a weekend hiker, or someone just looking to get through the day without discomfort, my goal is to help you stay resilient. My approach combines hands-on manual therapy with personalized rehab to get you back to your favorite activities stronger than before. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me out on a hiking trail, practicing yoga, or enjoying a local sunset.
Mehdi Tafreshi
Osteopath (DOMP)
Hi, I’m Mehdi. With over 20 years of experience in physiotherapy and osteopathy, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding the complex language of the human body. My approach isn’t just about fixing a sore back or a stiff neck; it’s about finding the ‘why’ behind your pain.
Having worked with everyone from professional athletes (holding a FIFA Diploma in Sports Medicine) to those dealing with chronic disc issues, I combine hands-on manual therapy with clinical precision. Whether we are working on spinal health or recovering from surgery, my goal is to create a plan that fits your life and gets you back to doing what you love, pain-free.
