Ling Ling Qin
Registered Licensed Acupuncturist
Lingling Qin is a highly experienced Registered Acupuncturist in Coquitlam, BC, and a member of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). She brings a unique integrative approach to care through her extensive background in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Lingling earned her Bachelor of Medical Science in China in 1988 and worked as an Internal Medicine Physician for over 10 years, combining Western medical treatments with Traditional Chinese Medicine—particularly effective for chronic conditions and patients who experienced side effects from medications.
After personally recovering from lower back and sciatic pain through acupuncture, Lingling pursued advanced training and completed her Acupuncture Specialty Program at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2001. She began practicing acupuncture in Calgary in 2011 and moved to Coquitlam in 2023, where she now treats patients at Rene Health Clinic.
To further support her patients, Lingling also completed a 2,200-hour Massage Therapy program in Canada, allowing her to integrate acupuncture needling, acupressure massage, cupping therapy, and Gua Sha for more effective and personalized care.
Lingling treats a wide range of conditions, including acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, stress, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, weight management, fertility and IVF support, and facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
Patients appreciate her calm, thorough, and compassionate approach, as well as her ability to identify the root cause of symptoms rather than just temporary relief.
If you are searching for a trusted acupuncturist in Coquitlam, Lingling Qin offers holistic, results-focused acupuncture care at Rene Health Clinic.
Mohsen Amani
Registered Licensed Acupuncturist
Hi, I’m Mohsen . My journey in medicine began as an ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon, where I spent over 20 years performing complex clinical procedures. While my surgical background gave me a deep understanding of human anatomy, my passion for holistic healing led me to Vancouver to master Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Today, I bridge the gap between Western surgical precision and Eastern wisdom. By integrating acupuncture into my practice, I help patients find relief from chronic sinus issues, hormonal imbalances, and post-operative pain. Whether you’re looking for a natural way to manage stress or a specialized approach to recovery, I’m here to support you in English, Farsi, or Romanian.
Most patients describe the sensation as a tiny "pinch" or a mild tingle rather than pain. Because our practitioners, such as Mohsen Amani, have a background in head and neck surgery, they bring a surgeon's precision to every needle placement. We use sterile, hair-thin needles designed to bypass pain receptors, ensuring a calm and comfortable experience.
At René Health, we use acupuncture to bridge the gap between Western medicine and holistic healing. Our experts specialize in:
Chronic Pain & Sciatica: Targeted relief for long-term physical discomfort.
Sinus & Respiratory Issues: Specialized care for chronic sinus challenges, drawing from an ENT surgical background.
Mental & Hormonal Health: Support for stress, hormonal imbalances, and fertility challenges.
Recovery: Managing post-operative pain and accelerating the body's natural healing process.
Yes, especially at our clinic. Our acupuncture team brings over 30 years of medical knowledge to the table. With backgrounds as an Internal Medicine Physician and a Surgeon, our practitioners don't just see a symptom; they understand your entire anatomy and medical history. This clinical depth allows us to treat complex cases with a level of safety and thoroughness that is rare in the field.
While some patients feel immediate relief from stress or acute pain, others require a series of treatments to address the root cause of chronic illness. During your initial assessment, your practitioner will create a customized plan tailored to your specific recovery goals. We believe in a thorough approach that focuses on sustainable, long-term health rather than a "quick fix".
