Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)

Clinical Excellence in Soft Tissue Recovery

Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of the body’s soft tissues—including muscles, connective tissues, tendons, and ligaments—to enhance a person’s health and well-being. While massage is often associated with relaxation, it is a powerful clinical tool for physical rehabilitation and pain management.

Why Choose RMT at René Health?

We view massage therapy as a science, not just a luxury. Whether we are breaking down scar tissue, improving circulation, or calming the nervous system, our goal is to provide functional relief that lasts long after you leave the table.

Not Just a Spa—A Clinical Path to Recovery
At René Health, our Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) is a vital component of your healthcare team. While relaxation is a welcome side effect, our primary focus is functional recovery. We use evidence-based manual therapy to address the root of your physical limitations—whether it’s a sports injury, chronic tension, or post-surgical recovery.

Common Concerns We Address
Chronic Pain & Tension: Releasing deep-seated knots and "trigger points" that cause referred pain and headaches.
Sports Injury Recovery: Accelerating the healing of sprains, strains, and tendonitis to get you back to the trails or the gym.
Postural Correction: Counteracting the effects of "desk-hunch" and repetitive strain from long hours at a computer.
Prenatal Care: Specialized support to alleviate the unique back, hip, and leg pain that comes with pregnancy.

Better Results Through Collaboration
Massage therapy is powerful on its own, but it’s even more effective when integrated.
Our RMTs communicate directly with our Chiropractors and Naturopathic Doctors to ensure your treatment plan is aligned.

Example: Your Chiropractor adjusts the joint, and your RMT releases the surrounding muscle tissue to ensure that adjustment "holds."
